Chair’s Statement:
The annual Chair’s statement outlines that the governance framework required of Defined Contribution (DC) pension schemes and how the Trustee has met these requirements during the year. The Chair’s statement is prepared on an annual basis and published publicly by the Trustee.

Statement of Investment Principles:
The Statement of Investment Principles (SIP) is a written statement detailing the current investment strategy of the Plan. The SIP is updated following any change to the investment strategy.

Implementation Statement:
The implementation statement sets out the actions taken by the Trustee to ensure that the policies and objectives set out within the SIP have been adhered to over the course of the year. The implementation statement is prepared on an annual basis and published publicly by the Trustee.

Pension Scams:
It's important to be aware that while the majority of financial advisers are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (https://register.fca.org.uk) and pension arrangements are registered, this is not always the case. There is an ongoing risk of scammers trying to take advantage of the vulnerable or attempting to get hold of savers’ personal and financial information.

Beware of any approach by email, post or phone that asks you to supply details you would normally keep secure or tries to steer you towards a quick financial decision.
